Planning a conference involves many things. After weeks (or even months) of making sure everything will run smoothly on that day, you’d want to have the event documented perfectly.

Don’t risk ruining the occasion with bad photography. The right conference photographer knows what to do during the event.

Here’s how professional photographers prepare for conference photography:

1. Understanding Job Specifications
Shooting a wedding and photographing a conference are completely two different things. Before the project starts, your photographers would make sure they understand the job specifications and requirements.

Some of the things you may be asked about your project are:

•    Do you want to receive prints or have everything in digital format?
•    What are the copyright demands for the project?
•    To where shall we point your guests in case they want to see the pictures after the event?

2. Choosing the Right Type of Lens
A seasoned Manila corporate photographer knows that when it comes to indoor events, using the right type of lens can save you from almost anything, especially bad lighting.

For conference photography, many professionals would choose to bring about two types of fast lenses. If you’re particular about the use of flash in the venue, it’s best to inform your photographers about it so they can bring a lens that’s perfect even for lowlight setting.

3. Learning About the Agenda
Knowing what the conference is about helps photographers set their expectations. If you won’t be giving away a printout of your program on the day, it might be best to at least provide your photographers with an agenda. This way, they won’t miss important parts of the conference and they can position themselves at the right area for the perfect shots all the time.

Many professionals would also often familiarize themselves with the VIPs, guest speakers, and panelists. They do this to make sure they have enough shots of the important attendees of your conference.

Documenting a conference isn’t difficult when you’re working with the right team. Entrust your event to the pros. Call us at (63) 969.089.4000 or fill out our contact form to learn more about Manila conference photography.
